ABOUT ARTIST

Lina Kova is an experimental pop/rock singer songwriter whom from the age of 3, staring up at the TV screen as five members danced and sung around a young audience of eager little kids, she knew, she wanted to be just like Hi-5 one day. It wasn’t until she had grown up a little more where artists such as Ed Sheeran and Tori Kelly inspired her to write her own music as she picked up the guitar, allowing her story telling journey through music to begin. Lina’s younger musical career was centred around the classical genre through piano lessons and being in the Sydney Children’s Choir where she performed in ‘The Chimney Sweep’, an opera performance by Antonio Salieri, and in venues such as the Sydney Opera House and Martin Place amphitheatre. After a few years with the choir, she decided to start a new journey, pursuing her solo career in contemporary music where she is now releasing singles and will soon be debuting her first EP! Lina’s passion in music began when she was little where she loved making up stories and writing little melodies. Her muse of storytelling helped her create musical art that shares her creative imagination whilst allowing people the freedom to interpret the art into their own story as well.
